Delhi riots – Delhi Police files charge sheet against suspended AAP councillor Tahir Hussain

New Delhi. Delhi Police on Tuesday filed a charge-sheet against suspended AAP councillir Tahir Hussain including 14 others in a Karkardooma court, pertaining to the riots that took place in Northeast Delhi, earlier this year.

In the 1,030 page charge-sheet, Hussain was the mastermind behind the violence for which he spent around Rs 1.30 crore. His brother and 15 others have also been named as accused in the matter.

The charge sheet also states that he had 100 live ammunition, of which 64 ammunition and 22 shells have been recovered.

The charge sheet will be taken up for consideration by the court on June 16.
