Kerala woman lashes out at Media One channel – Use the word ‘killed’ when it is about your pigs, our soldiers are ‘martyred’

Kerala. The telephonic conversation of a Kerala woman with Media One regional channel has gone viral in the social media in which she lashes out at the channel asking them not to use ‘killed’ when it is about the death of a brave Indian soldier. Though the Popular Front funded channel tries to justify the story, the woman raises her voice to quieten the journalist. This incident is reported from Kerala.

“We have heard your channel saying 3 Indian soldiers were ‘killed’ in a violent face-off with China. Do you know what the word that is used to mention when it is about the death of Indian soldiers?,” as the journalist tries to convince her, the woman corrects him and says that they can use the word when it is about the death of pigs, not our brave soldiers. Netizens are now celebrating the words of the patriotic Indian woman and the audio is being shared widely.

In the violent face-off between Indian army and China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA) at the Line of Actual Control (LAC) at Galwan Valley in Laddakh, as many as 20 Indian army men were martyred including an Army Colonel and soldiers.
