Perseverance and Time Management play a Key Role : Nivedita Bhide

 



Women Wing of Akhil Bhartiya Ras htriya Shaikshik Mahasangh (ABRSM)  organised an online All India  Karyashala for Women Karyakartas  on 14-15 August 2020 where State Level Mahila Karyakarini members  participated. The Women Wing Vice President, Dr.Kalpana Pande apprised the particpants about the journey of the organisation,its aim and motto. Priyamvada Saxena, Incharge of the Women Wing, took a session on the various programmes organised by the units of the organisation throughout the year. ABRSM which has been continuously working for the cause of the teaching community across the country since 1988 ,has about 3 lakh women members through various organisations affiliated to it. 



Two special invitees addressed the gathering of more than 145 participants from various states. Padma shree awardee Nivedita Bhide, Vice President of the Vivekananda Vichar Kendra, Kanyakumari spoke on the 'role of Women karyakartas in an organisation'.  She apprised the participants with the importance of time management, perseverance and participation in organisation as a collective effort rather  an individualistic effort. She cited Swami Vivekananda and the seven powers in a woman as defined in Bhagvat Gita. Nivedita Bhide emphasised on making a conscious effort, not to consider organisation work as event management but a process in continuation.  Prof. Sushma Yadav, Vice Chancellor of Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya,  spoke on the 'Role of Women in Nation Building'. She cited many examples from Indian scriptures citing the various roles women played in the society as teachers, rulers, writers, to name a few. Prof Yadav inspired the participants to take the baton and chart the course of 'Atmnirbhar Bharat'in the present circumstances. Dr. Nirmala Yadav,  additional General Secretary of the Women Wing welcomed the special Secretary of the Women's Wing extended vote of thanks to the invitees aand Mamtha DK , joint secretary coordinated the session . The President of ABRSM, Prof JP Singhal, Gen. Secretary Shivanand Sindenkera and organisational secretary  Mahendra Kapoor were present during the Karyashala.
